Synopsis[]
During the Japanese occupation of Korea, prisoner Seo Kang-Hee tells her story to fellow prisoner Nam-Joo. Kang-Hee was in love with Ha-Ryun, who turned out to be working for the Japanese, and used Kang-Hee to betray Korean freedom fighters. Nam-Joo and Kang-Hee escape prison together and find Ha-Ryun just as he is being married to the daughter of a member of the Japanese military. Kang-Hee shoots Ha-Ryun, and Nam-Joo kills a guard by jumping out the window with him in her embrace.[1]
