Chang Il-ho

Chang Il-ho (장일호 / 張一湖; Seoul, April 21, 1917 - February 10, 2009)[1][2] was a Korean director, actor, and screenwriter. He studied Korean Literature at Kukhak University, but dropped out of the program.[2] He started in film as an actor, appearing in films for director Shin Sang-ok. In 1961 he made his directorial debut with The Noble Thief, Iljimae.[2]
